Reflections is a creative arts competition through the Washington State PTA and National PTA to encourage students to express their creative talents through their own original works.
Each year, Reflections challenges students to align their art to support a specific theme.
The theme for 2023-24 is: I am Hopeful Because…
Students will learn more about this program during their September library rotations. The entry due date will be announced soon. There will be a box in the school library starting early October.
Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade Cedar Wood students can submit entries in any of the six arts areas:
Literature Music Composition Photography Visual Arts Video or Film Production Dance Choreography

Entries are judged on creativity, technique, and interpretation of the theme.
